Although you're trying to synthesize something that resembles an acoustic instrument doesn't mean you're doing physical modelling. This is in essence sampling and additive synthesis. Physical modelling is making mathematical models of the physical behavior of acoustic instruments in order to generate sounds that (hopefully) resemble their acoustic counterparts.

A cool tip: my default template has every channel feed into a "sub-master". Ever wanted an effect on EVERYTHING besides just a few exclusions? Just have those sounds be the only ones to bypass the sub-master. And, actually, i have 3. Want a filter sweep across everything but vocals? Have two independent sub-masters going directly to master, and you can link the sweep but give just the one on the drums extra resonance. Want a sound to make use of a sub-master but still want ir excluded from other stuff? Sub-master 2 leads into sub-master 1 leads into master, this sound bypasses sub-master 2. Can always add more sub-masters, very flexible and fluid routing as long as you start with 1 and everything routed to it, especially if you keep that one empty and route it to whichever on you want as the 1st sub-master in the chain, in case you change your mind. Thats why i think 3 is just right for a template.

I actually grew up and lived through the 90's, computers back then were pretty limited, most PCs were anything from an old 286 to a 486 running Windows 3.11, or Windows 95, or in the late 90's they were Pentium II, Pentium III, or Pentium IV, running Windows 98 or Windows XP, there were Macs running OS7, OS 8, and OS 9, the main Daws used in the 90's were early versions of Cubase, ProTracker, and Impulse Tracker, there was also an open source Daw called Jeskola Buzz too, which was a free download, most computers in the 90's were limited in how much memory they had too, maximum would be about 2Gb of DDR Ram, 286, 386, and 486 PCs used slower ram, also graphics cards were limited too.

I'm tremendously fascinated by this plugin. It's the only plugin that really helps to widen mono signals. I wish there was a hardware unit that could do this (a guitar pedal!!). This is HUGE for live use. You can get a wide sound without worrying about audience position (if they're closer to one speaker or the other)

hello everyone, here I have a problem when I do my kick drums... when I hit a key, the attack of the kick is never the same... (as if I had random phase. ..however the setting seems correct: 0⁰+-0) .... small clarification, for the pitch envelope I use a bpm delink curve... I can't find the solution to my problem

Superb video i usually tune drums within groove agent,arsenal ..but your way is great for sample loops and i never thought of using a frequency shifter ..ive used pitch shifters but your way is a bit more subtle
